: How to Add Subtitles to a Movie/Video on VLC :

Most of you like playing movies and videos with subtitles. So this article is about inserting subtitles on VLC media player.

Steps

  1. Add Subtitles to a Movie_Video on VLC Step 1.jpg

    Check if you have any subtitles track of the movie/video on your computer. If you don't, download it from internet.

    Play your movie/video on VLC media player.

    Click the video button on the menu bar.

    Select the 'subtitles track' option and select the 'open file' button. (a dialog box appears.)

    Select your subtitle file of that particular movie/video.
